Tlaloc Aztec bas relief created with Forton resin and bronze powder

Bas-relief sculpture of 23,5”x 33” in size, this representation of Tlaloc, the Aztec god of rain was created with Forton resin and bronze powder, it was then oxidised with a black patina. Once completed it was polished to bring out the bronze’s luminosity recalling the Aztecs’ sacred link with the sun.
