Special effects piece for the movie The Day After Tomorrow
Poster for the film and technical drawing of the ergonomic control prop
used to drill the Antartic ice, in the beginning of the movie.
Special effects piece for the movie The Day After Tomorrow, 2004. Working from technical drawings provided by the artistic director, a prototype of the piece (an ergonomic control lever) was made using modelling clay as seen in the pictures. The final piece was then cast and the surface painted and used in the opening sequences of
the movie.
